Hydro-Tone Continuing Education Credits
Hydro-Tone has established some continuing education credit (CEC) classes
that you can do via the Internet. Here's how it works:

You select the CEC class you want to take from the list below. A general
description of the class is provided.

Fill out the registration form and submit
via email hydrotone@hydrotone.com.

Either call Hydro-Tone with your credit card number and pay the registration
fee over the phone, or send a check to the address at the bottom of the
page.

You need to read the information provided for that CEC and email your responses
to Hydro-Tone. Once the responses are received by Hydro-Tone, you will
be sent email back letting you know you qualify for the CEC units and the
required form will be mailed to you to submit to your organization for
renewal of your instructor certification. AEA is the first to approve Online
CEC Classes, but Hydro-Tone is hoping other organizations will follow suit
and is submitting applications to them.
CEC Classes
These are the classes currently available online. Hydro-Tone has 6 other
CEC units available for AEA but not through online education. You
can contact the company for information on those CECs..

Hydro-Tone's Cookbook of Moves - (AEA
2.0 CEC's) - this area contains exercises that students and instructors
have done with the Hydro-Tone equipment. Search through the "Cookbook of
Moves" to get extra ideas for your students. Then contribute two exercises
(utilizing upper and lower body) or a variation of the moves presented
here to get your CEC credit.

Hydro-Tone Muscle Endurance Tests
- (AEA 3.0 CEC's) - this area shows six simple "field" (non-laboratory)
tests that can be done to measure muscle endurance of the major muscle
groups. Includes a detailed description of each test with pictures, individual
and class worksheets, and a script instructors can use to administer the
test. CEC is provided for those instructors who give the test and submit
scores for at least six students.
Cost is $10.00 per CEC and 50% of the money is donated to support the FREE
interactive educational programs on Youth Net for grades K-12.
